The next file that I will post is the source code to version 1.1 of my SPELL program. I have added one enhancement to the program: When SPELL encounters an unfamiliar word, the user is given the option of inserting the word into the dictionary, or not inserting the word. With version 1.1, if the user chooses NOT to insert the word into the dictionary, the word is considered as being correctly spelled, and if the word is encountered again, the user is not asked what to do with it. The word will not be saved in the dictionary, of course. This should be helpful when there is a word in the document Let me try again: This should be helpful when there is a word repeated several times in your document that you don't want to insert into the dictionary. How to get the executable file for SPELL: I regret that I am presently unable to successfully send executable files to my VAX. If someone with OSS Pascal would be kind enough to compile SPELL 1.1 and send the uuencoded binary to this net, I would be greatly appreciative! My next project will be to write a program that gives the times of moon rise and set, sunrise and set, solar and lunar eclipses for an observer's location. I hope I can find the time to write it! However, as a graduate student, I am very busy this semester... Thanks, Eric Bergman-Terrell (CSNET Address terrell@ohio-state)
