I've been using OS-9 68K on the Atari for few days now (a week?) and it's quite good, but doesn't currently have a GEM-like interface. Rather, the /term emulates a Televideo 925 (not knowing much about that particular terminal I can't say whether it's a complete emulation, but I doubt it). The RESET vector does not seem to be affected by OS-9. At least, if you reboot, you do so all the way back to GEM. This is very inconvenient for a floppy disk system, but for a Hard disk user it won't have much consequence. It does seem, however, that GEM is still around if you can figure out a way to get at it. I'm guessing in this much, but you never know till you try.
