To Bill Pase and all interested: >For your floppy format program. You suggest running it from an auto >folder. Should this be when booting with an RAM TOS? And if so is it >then like the Analog one wherein you then reboot after formating as many >disks as you wish? /bill First of all, as much as I would like to, I cannot take credit for frmtplus: I got this from the Atari BBS (there is some nice stuff out there). Now, you are correct about placing the program in the AUTO folder of your RAM TOS boot disk (i.e., you _must_ boot with TOS in RAM for the program to work). Once the desktop appears, you may then format as many disks as you wish (I recommend you format all of your disks this way - even those of you using the 10 sector, 410k/820k formats - since the gain in speed is so nice). Once you have formatted all the disks you are going to, you may (but don't have to) boot your machine from ROM. -Rich -- __________ ______ ____ _____ ___ /_________//___ ||__|/____|/__/ Richard E.
