Some comments on the recent postings (mostly failure stories):
1. I downloaded ARC and uudecoded it on my Atari. I think the uudecoded
version works correctly. At least it seemed to list, verbose-list,
and extract ALITE without bombing out. However:
2. I downloaded ALITE and uudecoded it on my Atari. I then used ARC to
extract ALITE from archive. All the filelengths matched what was
expected. However, ALITE did *not* work. It just hung the machine.
Anyone managed to get ALITE to work?
3. Our site still hasn't received part 1 of uEMACS 3.7i. I notice others
with the same complaint, so will someone please repost it? Or at least
send me a copy?
4. Our copy of UNITERM 1.4 doesn't work. Looks like the same error others
are reporting. Anyone managed to get UNITERM to work?
I've been waiting for these programs with bated breath, so if you have
any clues, please help! In particular, do tell me if you managed to get
these programs to work; maybe send me your copy if you have a working
version.
