Well, it seems as though the mailer somewhere (I haven't traced it down yet) is expanding the literal $TZ to CST6CDT (In case it does it to this note, that is dollar sign capital T capital Z, or $ T Z without the spaces) aka. $TZ (as in REXX variable) is time zone (only guessing, but it makes sense to me) and is being translated to CST (Central Savings Time) 6 (from Greenwich Mean Time difference) CDT (Central Daylight Time). This is a guess, but I will bet that it is either the new version of mail we are using, or a bug in the mailer. What this means is: If you received MONST and had long lines, replace the CST6CDT with $TZ and all should be honky-dory. Let me know, Mike p.s. I just sent this to myself with mail and it didn't do it, so check with your postmaster. I noticed the same problem when I transferred the file from the 3B20 to the AS/9000N, and just received it without using the mail exec.
