A few remarks to some problems with my recent posting:
- KeyEdit.Prg: the numeric keypad and the cursor keys in UniTerm are
'hardwired'..that means you can't change the meaning
of these keys except in keypad numeric mode! This is
not my fault, this is the way a VT100 works!!!!
The keypad has following modes:
VT100 numeric keypad
VT100 application keypad
VT52 numeric keypad
VT52 application keypad
The cursor keys:
VT100 cursor mode
VT100 cursor application mode
VT52 cursor mode
The strings sent are predefined and not user changeable!
-Kermit: I've tried UniTerm with GEM-Kermit and have had no problems
with sending, receiveing and server mode (BTW a particular
good combination seems to be UniTerm, Kermit and K-Switch
which I was able to borrow for a few days). If anybody
has had problems pls mail them to me (I consider this
important!).
-Truncated postings: please don't post to the whole net! If you are
on arpanet or bitnet mail to me and I will
send you the missing parts a.s.a.p. (the only
problem is that this is slowly turning in to a
full time job (without any pay)). If you are
on an other network pls give me a full
description of network and node, I will the
mail you a test msg.
