>>>>> MMMUUUNNNCCCHHH!!! <<<<<<< I'm not sure of which version of 1st Word people are calling the "updated" one. I just recently bought a 1040, and the version of 1st Word that came with it was 1.06. This version does not have any _DOCUMENTED_ multi-columnar format, nor does it fix that very anoying exit from the editor when a save is done. To answer the question about double spacing: on my version (1.06) you go to the Style menu and select the Spacing option. Note that this does not change an already existing document to be double spaced, one must Restyle the entire document first. Hope this helps. Any questions or comments or corrections should be e-mailed to me. ===================================================================== | | | ____ ____ ___ | | | | | |___ | \ John Ogawa | | |__| |___ ___| |__/ UC San Diego | | ix181@sdcc6@sdcsvax | | | | DISCLAIMER: My views do not represent those of the | | University of California, nor do theirs represent mine. | =====================================================================
