Well I have a question for the os9 wizards out there. Can anyone give me a clear explanation similar to the one on chain() and os9fork() of how to use the pipe calls in OS9 "C" and how to use the related assembler calls? If possible please include examples. I fully understand the use of pipes from the shell, but! how do I create my own inside a program I write. As an example, I feel I should be able to read the output of the dir command into a buffer in my program. If it helps, I DO understand how the Unix fork() and popen() calls work. Also, all the the above refers to OS9 6809. _________________________________________________________________________ UUCP: (1) seismo!why_not!scsnet!sunder Mark E.
