The version of ksh currently available from the AT&T UNIX Toolchest may not have file name completion, but the latest version of ksh certainly does. It is in beta test right now and will undoubtedly be re-released through the toolchest when it is finished. Please notify readers of this newsgroup to that effect. I would recommend that those who are interested in command editing, completion etc. investigate tcsh (I do not have details of availability). You presumably need a UNIX source license in order to obtain it. Leech) Subject: Wanted: Pointers to Unix hosted on IBM 4381 (like 370) I STRONGLY recommend you look into Amdahl's UTS product. This is at heart System V ported to run either under VM or native mode. There are numerous extensions made for such things as 3270 terminaks and communicating with other guests under VM (we are also running VMS and it is quite straightforward to shove files back and forth). We have been running UTS over a year now and are extremely happy with it. ``It's the real thing.'' -- Jon Leech (jon@csvax.caltech.edu || ...seismo!cit-vax!jon) Caltech Computer Science Graphics Group __@/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 May 86 20:04:16 est From: BACS Access <iuvax!access> Subject: Xenix tape backup Does anyone know of a low cost tape backup system for an IBM AT compatible running SCO Xenix Sys V? I need something inthe 40 meg backup range as cheap as possible. Thanks.
