Unix Technical Digest Mon, 23 Jun 86 Volume 3 : Issue 7 Today's Topics: Concurrent Programming Daylight Savings Time ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed, 11 Jun 86 09:26:27 est From: gyp@csadfa.cs.adfa.oz (Patrick Tang) Subject: Concurrent Programming Does anyone done any concurrent programming in C language under Unix 4.2 BSD. Note that the C language is 'normal' C language NOT concurrent C. I am trying to develop a graphics package under SUN3 or SUN2 to simulate real-time events. Any advice to literature and packages written are most appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- Tang Guan Yaw/PatricK ISD: +61 62 68 8170 Dept. They remarked that as the House passed a similar bill last year, this is likely to become law. Although I don't want to get nearly so bogged down in this issue as mod.std.unix did (at least not covering the same ground), I would like to know what binary sites are going to do about their time for about three weeks next April, if this passes. (I'm talking about sites who can't afford or can't get an upgrade to their system that includes a fix for this problem.) Again, new ways to handle DST have been beat to death in m.s.u. I'm just interested in what binary sites are to do. I'll summarize the responses in a future mod.os.unix. Thanks. ------------------------------ End of Unix Technical Digest ****************************** -- Ron Heiby {NAC|ihnp4}!cuae2!usenet Moderator: mod.newprod & mod.os.unix AT&T-IS, /app/eng, Lisle, IL (312) 810-6109 Submissions should go to unix@cbosgd.uucp.
