Since the topic of who owns yacc parsers has come up again, I asked a friend who negotiates Unix licensing agreements for a Unix vendor. She reports that the System V rel 2.0 license specifically says that it is ok to include /usr/lib/yaccpar in applications without payment of a sublicensing fee. I gather that System V 2.0 agreements are all that AT&T is selling these days, since they grandfather all of the previous versions, and the upgrade from System III or System V is cheap. John
