Or they can be served hot as a main course. .IH "Serves 4" .IG "1 lb" "canned salmon," (either pink or red) .IG "pinch" "salt" .IG "1" "small onion," diced .IG "\(14 cup" "bread crumbs," plain or spiced .IG "2" "eggs" .IG "1 tsp" "lemon juice" .PH .SK 1 Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. .SK 2 Form into patties about \(12 \- \(34 inch thick and 2\(12 \- 3 inches diameter. This should make .I about 8 patties .SK 3a Fry in oil or butter until brown and crispy, or .SK 3b Bake in a well-greased pan at 400 degrees until brown (about 15 minutes). .NX I usually make a double batch. .PP These are great either hot or cold.
