Hi, When I started posting reviews to this newsgroup, I kinda hoped it would turn out better than it has. Isn't it possible to get some discussions started? Surely somebody out there doesn't agree with me about something. Or feels that I understated a feature of a book; or overstated one. At the very least, someone must be reading books I haven't read. I'd appreciate reading some reviews too. If it's just going to be me posting, I vote that we disband the group. I can't believe it's worth a whole newsgroup to hear what I think about a book. -- Stephen Perelgut Computer Systems Research Institute, University of Toronto

I would be happy to post some reviews of my own, all I require is someone to find me the time to read some. I continue to enjoy Steve's reviews, and judging by the books I have read that he has reviewed, his opinions seem pretty accurate (or at least like mine :-) I hearby commit to do a couple of reviews of my own... not necessarily on recent reads. -- Usenet: {dalcs dciem garfield musocs qucis sask titan trigraph ubc-vision utzoo watmath allegra cornell decvax decwrl ihnp4 uw-beaver} !utcsri!mason Dave Mason, U.
