[ont.sf-lovers] Twilight Zone: old & new

gall@yunexus.UUCP (Norman R. Gall) (05/08/89)

Hello. I have two requests for the net:

a) does anyone have program guides for the old and new series???
If so, is there a chance you could post it to the net, or e-mail me
   copies?

b) are the episodes of the new series available on videotape? If so,
can you give me a supplier's address?

Thanks for everything in advance!!!

Speaking of the new Twilight Zone series, does anyone besides
me get a kick out of seeing Toronto landmarks popping up
every now and then?

Another fantasy/horror type show that does this even more
frequently is "Friday the 13th - the TV series". Unfortunately,
other aspects of this series (eg. plots, casting) have convinced
me that it isn't worth watching.

I haven't seen many episodes of "Ray Bradbury Theatre" (on pay TV)
to notice whether any Toronto locations are recognizable in it.

Since this newsgroup is for sf-lovers, we won't bother to mention
other TV shows, such as "Night Heat", that are filmed/taped in T.O.

It is interesting to note that so many of these sf/fantasy/horror
genre series are produced in this city. Contrary to the perception
that might be generated by the low volume of this newsgroup, there
must be quite a few sf-lovers in Ontario after all.
