In their book "Understanding Computers and Cognition", Winograd and Flores discuss coordinator systems, which are programs that employ ideas from Searle's speech acts and system theory to facilitate "conversations" between computer users. Is there anything in the literature about these creatures? I would greatly appreciate any pointers. Thanks in advance. David Kelley davidwk@tecnet-clemson.ARPA
