COMPUTER SCIENCE FACULTY AND PRACTITIONERS:

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is looking for candidates
for Program Evaluators to work with the Computing Sciences Accreditation
Board (CSAB).

CSAB, supported by its Member Societies, the ACM and the IEEE Computer
Society, is entering its second year of accrediting Computer Science
baccalaureate programs. Program Evaluators are members of visiting
teams which examine candidate programs in the United States. Evaluation
criteria developed by CSAB are used by the teams in making accreditation
recommendations.

Program Evaluator candidates should be experienced professionals with a
strong interest in computer science education. Those in the academic
community should hold the terminal degree, be at the associate professor
level (or above), and be involved in undergraduate computer science
education. Those in business, industry, or Government should hold an
advanced degree, have significant computing experience, and have a
strong interest in - or tie to - the academic community.
