The Stanford University Computer Science Department is accepting
applications for three tenure-track professors.  All applicants must
have a record of strong research and an interest and competence in
teaching.  Here are the three positions:

1) Joint tenure-track professor (Computer Science and Mathematics)
   with interest in numerical analysis and scientific computing for a
   newly proposed Applied Mathematics/ Scientific computing program.
