I don't mean to put a damper on things, but it strikes me as somewhat inappropriate that people are sending requests for the VLSI text recently mentioned here to the entire BBOARD. I don't particularly care about the use of the bboard, other than that it increases the number of useless messages we each have to wade through every day. Please, send the requests directly to the person who gave out the original message, rather than the entire BBOARD. Thanks, Dave -------

In article <12160253432.47.COMBS@SUMEX-AIM.ARPA> you write: >I don't mean to put a damper on things, but it strikes me as somewhat >inappropriate that people are sending requests for the VLSI text recently >mentioned here to the entire BBOARD. I was surprised to see the LETTER I sent posted to mod.vlsi as well. I know for a fact I sent a LETTER, not a POSTING. In fact, from the text of this, it should be obvious it is mail, but I somehow wouldn't be surprised to see it posted. I think that there's something wrong with the system that's causing mail to be sent to the board.... ...I don't understand these things. I do hardware. -Charles
