According to a catalog I have here of such things, an RJ-25C is a six-wire modular connector set up to talk to three separate voice pairs. The connector is physically the same as the familiar RJ-11 except that all six pins are hooked up. They say it is for "three separate telephone lines for use with desk sets and ancillary devices." An RJ-25W would be the same thing behing a wall-mount plate. I have never seen a phone that wanted such a hookup. Sounds pretty exotic. John Levine, Levine@YALE
