[ from Electronics Week, August 21, page 100 ] The FAA has picked AT&T to design, test, and manufacture a new voice and signaling system to control communications bewteen air-traffic controllers adn pilots. It will be installed at 2,035 locations over the next six years. The initial contract award is worth $66 million with a total value of over $120 million.
