[mod.computers.sequent] info-sequent and mod.computers.sequent

info-sequent-request@im4u.UUCP (John Quarterman) (11/06/85)

Here is an entry which I just mailed to the keeper of the
<NETINFO>INTEREST-GROUPS.TXT file on SRI-NIC, which gets
posted to mod.newslists on USENET from time to time under
the title "ARPANET List of Lists". It describes the purpose
of the mailing list and the new newsgroup mod.computers.sequent.

Perhaps someone from Sequent would like to write a few words?

in particular the Balance 8000. The mailing list is not moderated. It is
gatewayed into a USENET newsgroup called mod.computers.sequent, which
is moderated, i.e., you must mail to the above address to post.

anonymous FTP (log in as anonymous with password guest).

All requests to be added to or deleted from this list, problems, questions,
etc., should be sent to INFO-SEQUENT-REQUEST@IM4U.UTEXAS.EDU.

IM4U.UTEXAS.EDU is known on the UUCP network as im4u, and may be reached
