cc doesn't complain about the following piece of code:
foo(a, b, b)
int a, b;
{
a = b;
}
I'm only a user so I have no idea of the exact version of OSx. I know
it was upgraded not two weeks ago.

Well, when you do not declare the type cc could be assuming it's an int...
