[mod.computers.laser-printers] MacIntosh Aldus question

BEC.SHAPIN@USC-ECL.ARPA (Ted Shapin) (01/11/86)

I have a chance to order an AppleLaserwriter and Macintosh for
doing in-house publishing of manuals that need text and line
drawings.

When I saw Aldus pagemaker run there seemed to be too much disk
swapping. How much better would it be if I could get more memory
(2 meg), or a second disk drive, or a hard disk? If I can only
afford one, which would be best?

How about inexpensive scanners? Does anyone have any experience with
Microvision?

Ted.
