This note is in response to the various notes about printer speed and throughput... There are more reasons than speed to buy a high capacity printer. Most sites that I've seen drive their laser printers into the ground and need to replace the print engines very quickly. When we were looking for laser printers we found that within a manufacturer's line, that the higher output (and higher cost) printers were actually cheaper on a per page basis over a long period of time. I don't remember the numbers exactly (and I don't remember whether maintenance was included or not), but as an example, the Imagen 800 cost about 5 cents a page, while the Imagen 1200 cost 3.5 cents a page.
