Will Transcript drive Laserwriters and QMS 800s? In particular, psif has wired into it notions about some control characters (^D/eof, ^T/status) which are specified in the Laserwriter manual; ie, not specified as part of PostScript. Could some QMS 800 (beta?) sites enlighten us regarding what software changes might be needed? Thanks, Ron Stanonik stanonik@nprdc.arpa

The QMS800 (and the original 1200) postscript printer supports the same control characters as the laserwriter (not suprising, because the implimentation came from Adobe). Transcript works fine. -------
