Image Network has a version of PIC/DiTROFF that runs on the LN03. They claim to break an image down into parts that then get downloaded as a font to the LN03. The software takes care of things and you can get 300x300 dpi graphics. It does sound horrible, but it seems to work; the samples that I've seen are pretty good.
