I'll summarize the responses I've received on the PS-800 soon. However, I've recently learned that the PS-2400 is in beta-test. Anyone want to comment on their experiences with this product? For my money, and probably yours, the PS-2400 is probably the more exciting of the two, for non-low volume applications. Can we hear from the PS-2400 test sites (candidly), please? -Ken Burner Asst. The good news about the QMS PS2400 is that the beta test was completed. We ordered one for delivery in April and were to get a production model. The bad news is that just before its shipment, a bug was found in the controller that required consultation with Adobe. The bug is said to have been found, and our unit is supposed to be shipped this week (week of 86.05.19). Once we receive it and have had some experience, Gene Rackow or I will post an opinion to Laser-Lovers. Jim Boyle Math. and Comp. Sci. Div. Argonne National Lab.
