[mod.computers.laser-printers] IMAGEN enhancements

The IMAGEN laser printer "SET_MAGNIFICATION" command
magnifies a bitmap image in both the horizontal and
vertical directions. We would like to be able to expand
in a selected direction. The QMS laser printer
supports expansion in either direction using the command
"^IP nn mm". Is is possible to do this on an IMAGEN
printer (work around, or planned future releases of the
imagen firmware)???

The QMS laser printer supports run line encoding of
pixel data using the commands "^B", "^C", and "^D". For
example, if the next 64 pixels were turned on, the command
"^(^B008^)" could be used to represent 64 one's. Again,
is it possible to do this on an IMAGEN printer (work
around, or planned future releases of the imagen
firmware)???

Any constructive ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
