1) A mode_def for the LN03 Help! I'm trying to build the Computer Modern fonts with MetaFont for our LN03 laser printers. I have looked through WAITS.MF and UIUC.MF, but I can't find a *tested* version of a mode_def suitable for the Ricoh engine in the LN03. Does anyone out there have one ? 2) LN03 font download problems I'm assuming we're not the last people to find out about this.... When trying to produce TeX output, we've been having some problems loading and deleting fonts in the LN03. The symptom was that the LN03 produced a couple of pages, then appeared to hang -- with the only cure being to turn the power off! We contacted DEC who told us that 'there are known font memory management problems in revision 4.3 of the firmware, which are fixed in revision 4.4'. They installed this new revision last week, and so far, the problem has not reappeared. Tim Marsland, University of Cambridge
