[mod.computers.laser-printers] WordPerfect and the LaserWriter

RKIRCHNE%carleton.edu@RELAY.CS.NET (09/20/86)

We have experienced the creep problem (described by David Buerger
on a QMS PS-800) on our Apple LaserWriter, using it in SPECIAL Diablo
630 emulation mode with WordPerfect. Each page is registered about
1/4 line off from the previous. It is off by 2 full lines in 8 pages.

Is there some modification that should be made to the WP Diablo 630
printer driver?

we had this problem when we upgraded to the LaserWriter Plus. It happened
with any program that used linefeeds (instead of form feeds) to go from
page to page. Every Plus we found here at Wisc. had this problem. We had
to un-upgrade to get rid of it. (A shame.)
