I'd like to hear something about the print quality that people have been getting from recycled catridges ... after all, one of the reasons for having a throw away cartridge was to avoid having to do maintenance on the print drum assembly. Here at MIT we can get the cartridges for about $70 through our university supply center. It's not clear that a $45 or $50 cartridge is worth the savings if the print quality is degraded. Does anyone have any idea of how many times a cartridge can be refilled before the drum starts to give out? -- David Krowitz mit-erl!mit-kermit!krowitz@eddie.mit.edu mit-erl!mit-kermit!krowitz@mit-eddie.arpa david@mit-mc.arpa (in order of decreasing preference)

I believe thah the California company Toner-Tex that I recently told you about will only refile a cartridge two times. But you should check with them. They are very aware of the fact that the drum will ware down with use, and check each drum before refilling a cartridge. Like I said before, we have been using them with no problems. Craig Rolandelli
