Regarding TeX fonts in ROM: We got some for a QMS1200 from Talaris a while back (2 years ago) but the fonts had been edited by someone who decided that he/she didn't like the spacing that came with the AMR fonts so he/she 'fixed' it. Needless to say, the new spacing was terrible and the ROM fonts were useless. I think they supplied the fonts as part of a QMS printer package and don't know if they were available separately. I have not been in contact with the people at Talaris for a while, so I don't know whether they have put the new CMR fonts in ROM, nor whether they have 'un-fixed' their fix. Stephen, I have programs which translate pxl files into ROM images for permanently installing TeX fonts in QMS printers. I'd be glad to make them available to you but it may take me a week or so as we are in the midst of some major hardware changes at Delaware right now. Dan
