The laser-lovers list will be moving to a new site. Could you please address future messages to laser-lovers@brillig.umd.edu? From the Usenet, the address is seismo!mimsy!laser-lovers. The request address is now laser-lovers-request@brillig.umd.edu. Similarly, seismo!mimsy!laser-lovers-request should also work. For the moment, I will set up forwarding from the old address, but I understand that this old address will be subject to removal within the next few weeks. Archives will be unavailable temporarily. I'll post a message when they become available. I have been at the University of Maryland for the past two years but have continued to run the list from Washington through their good graces and through the magic of the Internet. However, the ward.cs.washington.edu host that has served as our base is being decomissioned and it also will be much more convenient for me to have the list on this side of the U.S. I certainly want to take this opportunity to thank Washington for hosting the list for as many years as they have. You should receive another copy of this message in a day or two from the brillig.umd.edu address to verify that all is right with the new distribution. --Rick
