I'm having problems printing tbl/troff input files to (1) an Imagen 24/300,
using tbl|itroff, and (2) an Apple LW, using tbl|ptroff.
My host is an Ultrix 1.2 VAX, and I'm using the man.new macros supplied with
Ultrix. (The Ultrix man macros format for the smaller pages used for the DEC
Ultrix documentation binders.)
Input that is intended to come out as columnar tables with boxes and lines
separating the columns prints the text OK, and the vertical lines are
correctly placed, but horizontal lines are often the wrong length and/or
begin/end too far left/right.
I haven't compared the Imagen output with the LW output to see if they are
identically wrong.
Has anyone had similar experiences and found a fix for this?
