Applications are invited from mathematicians, computer scientists, engineers and physicists for a three year PostDoctoral Research Fellowship, in the Deaprtment of Computing Mathematics, University College, Cardiff, Wales, UK, funded by the UK Science and Engineering Research Council. The post will commence on 1st October 1986, and the fellow will work on the development of Geometric Algorithms for Manufacturing, with applications to robotics and CADCAM. The work will involve the development of theoretical methods for solving various problems of geometry and motion, and the construction of practical algorithms.
