I need a little help from someone who knows more about pads and windows than I do ... I have a program which creates a pad with a window and then uses stream i/o to write a message into the pad. When the message is completed, the stream is closed and deleted so that the user can make the window and is asscoociated pad go away by typing EXIT or control-N in the window. I have been trying to find a way to leave the window positioned to the top of the pad (in case the message contains more lines than the window can display), but I have been unsuccessful. The stream close always seems to leave the cursor at the end of the message. Anyone have any hints? -- David Krowitz Bitnet: KROWITZ@MITLNS Arpanet: KROWITZ@MITLNS.MIT.EDU DAVID@MIT-MC.ARPA KROWITZ%MITLNS@MIT-MULTICS.ARPA ------
