There are two musicians whose names are similar, but have little in common John Wait - he's the one with the current single "Missing You", and is a former member of the group "The Babys", I think Tom Waits - The only songs of his that I've heard are cover versions: Jersey Girl (on the flip side of Cover Me) by Springsteen A New Coat of Paint - on Southside Johnny's new album (Also, Tom Waits is married to Rickie Lee Jones)

I don't believe Tom Waits is married to Ricki Lee Jones. Perhaps at one time they were (but i don't think so), I read that they had split up a while ago. Does anyone know about this for sure? -ron blechman hou4b!ribl

Tom Waits is not married to Rickie Lee Jones. They were onetime lovers, but no more..

tom waits was going out with rickie lee jones many years ago (1976?) he is NOT married to her and never has been. if you look at tom waits album "blue valentine" you will see rickie lee jones posing for the cover and back photos. this is a very depressing album made when tom had just broken up with rickie.

The song by Tom Waits called "In the Neighborhood" has a rather unusual video seen occasionally on non-Music TeleVision (yhey don't call it the boob tube for nothing). Anybody know where I can either get the 45 or the album titled "Swordfishtrombones"? A. J.
