Several sites have claimed to use the above to fix disk quota problems. VERIFY documentation implies that the structure is write locked during the operation. ie the structure needs to be quiet. Our system is booted perhaps once a week barring system problems. We have naive operators who don't want to know anything unless necessary. Should I force a repair at boot time? How long will this take on a public structure of 2 RA81's on an HSC? If I do it at every boot, where in the startup file should it go to guarantee the structure is write-lockable at the time? How do I prevent users getting to the system while their disk is unusable (I hate to confuse the naive)? Thanks in advance.
