Since the issue of terminals has been stirred up, I thought I'd ask what kind of terminals are people using for text and graphics? Ideally, what I'd like to find is a terminal which in ANSI compatible for text, does not NEED XON/XOFF or other flow control for speeds of 4800 baud (9600 even better) or less, and which provides a graphics mode with a resolution of about 500 x 500 and allows raster operations (xon/xoff allowed here). Also, does anyone have any VMS display manager that might drive such a beast and allow at least multiple, independent terminals? While very troggy, that would make it as useful as a VSII.
