Ramon, The following is an article I would like to submit to mod.computers.vax. I am interested in gathering information on DEC's DECnet/SNA Gateways. We are concerned about the overhead that each of the seven Access Routines could have on our VMS system. If you have experience with any of the following DEC SNA software Management Access Routines 3270 Terminal Emulation RJE Application Interface Document Exchange Facility (DDXF) Distributed Host Command Facility (DHCF) Printer Emulator would you please let me know 1) impressions of the quality of each product 2) system resources consumed by each product 3) ease of use and installation. If you have looked at DECnet/SNA and decided to use some other method (non DEC) to solve you problems, please let me know what you did and why.
