Our 11/780 unibus cage currently has three DZ-11, one INTERLAN Ethernet card and a UDA-50 controller. DEC field service have been unable to install a second DUP-11 card. I don't know the details, but it appears that the second DUP-11, after installation is not known to the system. I thought I might ask while they try and figure it out.... Is it possible to install two DUP-11 cards in a unibus cage and have both available to the system? I seem to remember that when I installed Jnet on our system that the manual mentioned something about SYSGEN not autogenning DUP11's. This works great for JNet since they use BTDRIVER rather than DECs XWDRIVER. If this is right, you might just want to try attatching it by hand. If that does not work try doing a SHOW /UNIBUS and check that the registers are available. - Eric Crane Carnegie Mellon Systems Software -------
