We have a similar program for network backups. You may want to specify /NOHDR3 in your MOUNT command. BACKUP processes its own labels, and uses the minimum ANSI subset (HDR1 and HDR2). VMS normally uses HDR1 through HDR4 labels; BACKUP correctly skips these for the first saveset on a tape, but apparently does not for subsequent savesets, as I have had problems. The simple solution is the abovementioned /NOHDR3 switch. -------
