The only time I ever tried to submit an SPR, it was bounced back to me
with the semantic equivalent of "Duh?" as the official response. I submitted
it three more times with ever-increasing amounts of description and
cross-references to the fiche, and details about what was necessary
to repair the problem. I received back three more "Duh"'s, and never
did succeed at penetrating through to a wizard.
Posting problems to Info-Vax at least has the advantage that *someone*
reasonably expert will get to hear about them.
