I'm starting to look at accounting more seriously. Looking at the records produced by the system with ACCOUNTING, I'm surprised there does not seem to be any indication of the printer forms used. Is this right? Or is this because no one has used forms here? More about printing. Exactly what are "Gets from source" and "QIOs to printer"? "Pages printed" seems to include headers and trailers, so this seems to be a good measure of paper usage. Are the "GETS" and QIOs a good measure of I/O activity to the disk and printer for the job? Is it reasonable to expect these numbers to be reproducible? Thanks in advance. But a warning that if you reply to me you may get even more questions. Brent.
