As mentioned before, the FCO for the current DEQNA's is as follows: Order #EQ-01418-01 Part # M7504 ("E1/E2") DEQNA module Rev "E1/E2" Affected Population 30,000 [ouch!!! -ed] Initial Kitting 30,000 Parts Availability June '86 Release date: 4-June-1986 I've had mine in for a week now and 99% of my problems dissappeared overnight. identification: All rev E1/E2 (or higher) boards will have module revision stamped on the Magenta handle Old board id: bad boards have chip#28-087K4-00 in loc. E11 Caveats: Must be running uVms 4.4, Ultrix-32m v1.2... for the software to also fix some problems... AND if your special custom drivers rely on the specific ethernet address of your DEQNA, you must swap the 365a1 ethernet address chip... .....there is a long FCO fact sheet that is important for you to get when you get your new DEQNA... -ed cetron%utah-cbd@utah-cs.arpa
