HELP! Any body have an old v3.x volume 10 (? I think it was 10?) manual? I'm interested on the section on tunning. There was a real neat little equation in there that told how much memory all the balance set slots took up. It used WSMAX and BALSETCNT/MAXPROCESSCNT I think. Problem is I don't remember exactly. I'd appreciate it if someone who still has their v3.x doc set could look it up and send that nice little equation back to me. I have not found it in any of the v4.x books yet. If it's in there then it's hiding real well. US mail: Chris Johnson Academic Computer Services Northeastern University 39RI 360 Huntington Ave. Boston, MA. I managed to find the tuning guide for 3.x VMS but I don't see an equation involving WSMAX/BALSETCNT/MAXPROCESSCNT. The SYSGEN chapter doesn't have an equation either. I think you're right, though, there was such an equation somewhere in the documentation set. I'll keep looking. Phil Young Xerox
