One of our DECservers appears to have two bad ports on it - possibly caused by the Version 1.2 DECserver software upgrade last week. It never showed any problems before. SYMPTOM: When a person logs into the DECserver, if they can, the DECserver autobauds incorrectly. i.e. the user has his terminal set for 4800 baud and the DECserver says that he is set to 300 baud. So what you say! This causes all sorts of garbage because the terminal speed is much faster then the DECserver speed. When you enter 'SHOW TERM' on the DECserver when in LOCAL mode it now shows you the speed between the DECserver and the host. It used to show the speed between the DECserver and the terminal. 1. Does anyone have release notes on the new DECserver software? 2. Has anyone experienced a similar problem or have a solution?
