Unix Consultant Wanted We are porting a multi-processor, real-time data acquisition and process control system from VAX/VMS to VAX/Ultrix. At the conclusion of the port we will perform a side-by-side comparison of the system running on the two operating systems. Since the system was developed on VMS and since we wish to perform a fair comparison, we seek a Unix consultant who will help us properly position the system on Unix. Issues include software development, performance monitoring and system tuning tools, sysgen parameter settings, interrupt handling and device driver strategies, and inter-processor communication. Commitment is roughly two weeks per month for nine months.
