Subject: Is VMS 4.4 BACKUP worse?
Has anyone else noticed an alarming increase in the number
of BACKUP *recoverable* errors when writing to tape in
version 4.4? It also seems to me that the number of these
*recoverable* errors that are really recoverable has dropped
from 90% to about 10%. We have a 780 and recently went
from 4.2 to 4.4.
