I had it working for a short while, exact same configuration, uVAX-II to 780.
running 4.2 on both. There is a known problem with Asynch DECnet in VMS 4.2,
which is fixed in 4.3, so you should at least upgrade to 4.3 before trying
again. The problem would cause the 780 to crash in NETACP, with NO STATE
TRANSITION (not exact words) bug. I was told at Dallas DECUS that it was
because that the uVAX-II is too fast for the 780, and some timing logic
caused the NETACP to go into an impossible (supposedly) state.
